Happiness for Health!

If you are happy and you know it... clap your hands because you will live longer! Harvard research has discovered that being optimistic correlates with living longer, past 85 years. Optimism is defined as an expectation that positive things will occur. Optimistic people tend to regulate their emotions better; bounce back from stressors; and engage in healthier behavior. Furthermore, even if we are not naturally optimistic, techniques and therapies can train us to be optimistic and thereby lengthen our lives!
