Preventing Depression!

Latest Harvard study reports that a mere 35 minutes of exercise daily lowers risk of depression, even in genetically predisposed individuals. High intensity like skiing or running and low intensity like yoga and walking apply!


Regarding most disease and especially depression, remember that your genes are not your destiny! Being physically active has the potential to neutralize the added risk of future episodes in individuals who are genetically vulnerable.

Each added FOUR hour interval of movement weekly results in a 175\ reduction in odds of a new episode of depression.
